JOHN 1:11 – “He came unto his own and his own received him not.”
From the time of His birth until this present day, there have been many people and places that have had no room for Jesus. He has been rejected and unaccepted by many. He was crucified because there was no room for Him. So let me ask you, do you have room for Jesus in your life? Or have other things taken up room in your life that there is no room for Him? Are other things more important than Him?
Has He been crowded out of your life due to your priorities not being in order? Have you gotten so busy that there is no room or time for Him right now? Or maybe you tell yourself that you will make room for Him tomorrow or later in life but not right now?
As hard as this is for me to write, I believe that we if we don’t make room for Him in our lives, He won’t have room for us in eternity. If we reject Him now, in eternity He will reject us and say to us that He never knew us. Our eternity hinges upon what we do with Jesus. If we make room for Him and welcome Him into our lives then He will welcome us into heaven when this life is over. I can’t really put into words how important it is to make room for Jesus in our lives.
